Rams’ Pocket Radio is a music project by Peter J McCauley. Taking influence from the industrial designer, Dieter Rams, the project aspires to longevity, simplicity & originality.

Rams’ Pocket Radio’s debut album, produced by David Kosten, was released in June 2013 following the release of 3 EPs and extensive touring throughout USA, Canada, Europe, UK & Ireland. The album was nominated for the HotPress awards’ ‘Best Debut’ and for the Northern Ireland Music Prize.

Rams has toured with artists such as Foy Vance, Darwin Deez & Snow Patrol and has opened for Marina & the Diamonds, The Lemonheads, Matchbox 20 and 30 Seconds to Mars to name a few. He has received playlisting on Radio 1 & Irish radio 2FM and has performed at a variety of festivals including Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, and Gampel, Rockin Park, Nijmegen and at the Áras an Uachtaráin for the President of Ireland.

Live, Rams’ Pocket Radio has taken many forms: solo, band and also with the Ulster Orchestra.
